Setting a custom prefix

To start off, I will show you how to set a custom prefix to ensure the bot does not interfere with other bots.

Before you begin...

Yzbot supports a 'mention prefix'. What this means is that putting a mention of yzbot before the command acts just the same as using the bot's prefix. This can be useful if you want to change yzbot's prefix without changing the prefix of other bots at the same time. If somehow, the prefix has been lost, you can also mention yzbot on its own and it will reply with some information including the prefix.

For whatever reason, you want to change the prefix, here is how you do so:

Very simply, you type ;prefix <new prefix>, and replace <new prefix> with your desired new prefix of choice.
