Yzbot Warn System

Yzbot's moderation system is not limited to simple mutes, kicks and bans. There is also a fully configurable 'warning system' which you could also think of as a strike system.

Configuration

Before we can warn people, we must configure the system first. There are two options that need to be configured: the limit and the punishment. Let's start off with the limit. Very simply, this is the amount of warns that any user needs to get before yzbot issues the configured punishment. To configure this, we type ;setwarns limit <amount>, replacing <amount> with the amount of warns you wish.

Now, we need the punishment - what yzbot will do after a user has obtained 3 warns. Let's kick them.

Usage

So somebody's broken the rules and they need a warning. You can warn them like so: ;warn <user/member ID> <reason> - you either mention the user or provide their ID and then put the reason for it after (but the reason is optional). Like so:

When they get 3 warns, they get kicked:

No, I definitely didn't have to re-add the Alpha bot to my public server!
